• Where are you located?
  • Hawaiianpix operates around the island of Oahu
• How far in advance can we reserve a session?
  • We recommend between 2 weeks and 1 year before you want to do your photos.
• How long is the photo shoot?
  • Our sessions are scheduled in one hour blocks.
• Can I add time? ​​
  • Yes you can add time to your session if you wish however, a one hour session is generally plenty of time.
• How many people can be in my photo shoot? 
  • The number of subjects varies between 1-5 people depending on the photo shoot you reserve. You can add people onto your photo shoot though for a $20 per person fee.
• Where can we do our photo shoot?
  • We have locations on all 4 corners of Oahu. The include Waimanalo Bay State Recreation Area, Ala Moana Beach Park, Lanikuhonua Beach and Papailoa Beach.
• What time can we schedule our appointment?
  • We photograph our Groupon Customer between 9 am and 3 pm Tuesday thru Saturday
• What if we cancel our session 
  • This isn't a problem as long as it is done more than 24 hours before your scheduled photos shoot start time. 
• Do you refund or reschedule photo shoots? 
  • Yes, unless you cancel inside of 24 hours of your scheduled session or miss more than 30 minutes of your scheduled time.
• I would like to do my photos at sunrise/sunset 
  • Great! These are the most in demand times we have, and we would be happy to upgrade your Groupon to one of these session times. It's less than you would think.....
• Can I reserve my session by email or Facebook?
  • Yes you can however, because we reserve our photographers on a first come first serve basis we recommend that you call 808-387-0869 as soon as you purchase your package.
• Can we change clothing during our session?
  • Yes you can, keep in mind that this may be difficult depending on the location. Some are remote and do not have bathroom facilities nearby.
• When do you reserve Family photo shoots?
  • Families who have children 5 and under are photographed in the morning. If you are a parent, you already know this is when the kids are at their best. If your child is 6 and over we can schedule you any time of the day. Finally if you have teen agers.... they like to sleep in the morning, we will typically try to accommodate them at our last session before noon, or after lunch.
• What if it Rains? 
  • We do our best with mother nature but sometimes she just doesn't cooperate. We do our best to reschedule you and will warn you at least 1.5 hrs in advance of your photo shoot, if we need to cancel the session due to rain or weather warnings.
• If we are visiting do we need to have a rental car to get to the photo shoot?
  • No, while we recommend getting one for a day or two and scheduling your session during that time to increase your options, it isn't necessary. Honolulu has one of the best bus systems in the US that covers the entire island, if you have the time. We also have locations that we shoot around the island, we can likely schedule you with just a short Uber or cab ride from your location
• Can I order additional pictures after our photo shoot?
  • Yes of course. But if you'd like to save even more, get your extras prints and images before your session. You will save up to 30%.
• What are your reprint prices for photos and digital files?​​​​​
  • This is the best part! Our pro print prices are hard to beat. You don't have to go somewhere and wait an hour, our shipping is less than $5 in most cases for standard USPS and if you order digital the pix are delivered right to your computer!
